ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday April 24, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. in the Executive Chambers, City Hall, 168 Main Street, Berlin, NH, to hear the following cases:
04-13 An application for Variance has been filed with the Berlin Zoning Board by Jason Carpenter, 374 Cates Hill Road. The subject property is located in a Residential Single Family Zone, located on Map 140, Lot 002. The request for a Variance, if approved, would allow the raising of two pigs, using approximately 60 square feet of area. The request comes under Article XIX, Section 17.202.2 of the Berlin Zoning Ordinance.
05-13 An application for Special Exception has been filed with the Berlin Zoning Board by Margaret Hartwick, of 171 Gordon Place, Freeport, New York. The subject property is 77 Norway Street, located on Map127 Lot 194, in a Residential Single Family Zone. The request for a Special Exception, would allow the construction of a metal garage within 6 feet of the property lot line, which is allowed by Special Exception. The garage will replace an existing dilapidated one, which is closer than the 6 feet requested in this application. The request comes under Article VI, Section 17-64.3.c of the Berlin Zoning Ordinance.
