A meeting of the Berlin Board of Education was held in the Berlin High School library at 6:00 p.m. Present for the meeting were Nicole Plourde, Lynn Moore, Donald Labrecque, Corinne Cascadden, Bryan Lamirande, Julie King, Martha Miller, Tim Forestall, Gary Bisson, Dan Record, Roland Pinette, Cheryl Pinette, Corey Arsenault, Alan Laflamme, Shantal Gallagher, Anthony Valliere, and Tim Gallagher.
MINUTES On a motion by Donald Labrecque, seconded by Louise Valliere, the Board voted to approve the minutes of the March 19, 2015 meeting public and nonpublic sessions. The motion passed unanimously.
WARRANTS On a motion by Lynn Moore, seconded by Louise Valliere, the Board voted to approve the warrants dated, March 30, 2015 and April 6, 2015 for the amounts of $1,984.28 and $243,368.27. On a roll call vote, all members voted in the affirmative.

JAG Three students from the JAG (Jobs for America’s Graduates) Program at Berlin High School gave a presentation to the Board on the impact of this program with their career plans.
JKAA Policies On a motion by Louise Valliere, seconded by Donald Labrecque, the Board voted to accept the first reading of the revision for Policy JKAA – Use of Restraints and Seclusion. The motion passed unanimously. On a motion by Louise Valliere, seconded by Lynn Moore, the Board voted to accept the first reading of Policy JKAA-R – Incident Report Form as revised. The motion passed unanimously.
SUPER’S REPORT The Superintendent informed the Board of the following issues:
- Student Recognition at BHS for SkillsUSA State Championship and HOSA State Conference
COMMENTS None
MEMBER BUSINESS Donald Labrecque congratulated the CTE Program.
NON PUBLIC On a motion by Lynn Moore, seconded by Louise Valliere, the Board voted to go into nonpublic session at 6:18 p.m. in accordance with RSA 91-A3II, (a), (b) & (c). On a roll call vote, all members voted in the affirmative.
On a motion by Donald Labrecque, seconded by Louise Valliere, the Board voted to come out of nonpublic session at 8:16 p.m. The motion passed unanimously. No additional votes were taken in nonpublic session.
RENOMINATIONS On a motion by Louise Valliere, seconded by Lynn Moore, the Board voted to approve the staff re-nominations as submitted by the Superintendent. The motion passed unanimously.
ADJOURN On a motion by Louise Valliere, seconded by Donald Labrecque, the Board voted to adjourn it’s meeting at 8:20 p.m. The motion passed unanimously.

On a motion by Lynn Moore, seconded by Louise Valliere, the Board voted to go into nonpublic session at 6:18 pm in accordance with RSA 91-A3II (a), (b), and (c). On a roll call vote, all members voted in the affirmative.
The Board discussed staffing and renominations.
The Board discussed tuition payments
The Board discussed a parental concern.
The Board discussed a Manifest Educational Hardship case that is being appealed to the NH Department of Education.
On a motion by Donald Labrecque, seconded by Louise Valliere, the Board voted to come out of nonpublic session at 8:16 p.m.~ The motion passed unanimously.~
