A meeting of the Berlin Board of Education was held in the Office of the Superintendent beginning at noon. Present for the meeting were, Nicole Plourde, Louise Valliere, Nathan Morin, Donald Labrecque, Bryan Lamirande, and Debora Payeur
MINUTES On a motion by Louise Valliere, seconded by Donald Labrecque, the Board voted to approve the minutes of the June 21, 2012 meeting, public and nonpublic sessions. The motion passed unanimously.
WARRANTS On a motion by Louise Valliere, seconded by Donald Labrecque, the Board voted to approve the warrant dated, June 29, 2012 for the amount of $311,706.01.Discussion ensued. Year-end projects such as the upgrade to the auditorium sound system, wireless internet upgrade, and updating the server were mentioned. The issue of revenue exceeding expectations was also explained in relation to monies being returned to the City. On a roll call vote, all members voted in the affirmative.
COMMENTS Nathan Morin inquired as to how the new Health Care Law will affect the district
ADJOURN On a motion by Donnie Labrecque, seconded by Louise Valliere, the Board voted to adjourn it’s meeting at 12:50 p.m. The motion passed unanimously.
