A meeting of the Berlin Board of Education was held in the Berlin High School library beginning at 6:00 p.m. Present for the meeting were, Nicole Plourde, Nathan Morin, Linda Pivin, Corinne Cascadden, Bryan Lamirande, and members of the press.
MINUTES On a motion by Linda Pivin, seconded by Nathan Morin, the Board voted to approve the minutes of the April 28, 2011 and May 5, 2011 meetings, public and nonpublic sessions. The motion passed unanimously.
WARRANTS On a motion by Nathan Morin, seconded by Linda Pivin, the Board voted to approve the warrants dated, May 16, 2011 and May 23, 2011 for the amounts of $19,214.92 and $96,793.18. On a roll call vote, all members voted in the affirmative.
COMMENTS None
1st RDG KLG On a motion by Linda Pivin, seconded by Nathan Morin, the Board voted to table the first reading of Policies KLG and KLG-R. The motion passed unanimously.
DRIVER EDUC On a motion by Linda Pivin, seconded by Nathan Morin, the Board voted to award the Driver Education bid to Emerson Driving School for the 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 School Years. The motion passed unanimously.
ADJOURN On a motion by Nathan Morin, seconded by Linda Pivin, the Board voted to adjourn it’s meeting at 6:03 p.m. The motion passed unanimously.
