An emergency meeting of the Berlin Board of Education was held in the Office of the Superintendent beginning at 6:30 p.m. Present for the meeting were, Nicole Plourde, Linda Pivin, Mitch Couture, Martha Laflamme, Karin Dorval, Corinne Cascadden, Marion Huntley, Roland Simard and Marc Lauze. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss staffing.
COMMENTS None
NON PUBLIC On a motion by Martha Laflamme, seconded by Nicole Plourde, the Board voted to go into nonpublic session at 6:35 p.m. in accordance with RSA 91-A3II, (a) & (b). On a roll call vote, all members voted in the affirmative. Roland Simard and Marc Lauze joined the Board and administration for part of the nonpublic session.
On a motion by Martha Laflamme, seconded by Linda Pivin, the Board voted to come out of nonpublic session at 7:40 pm. The motion passed unanimously. No additional votes were taken in nonpublic session.
STAFFING On a motion by Nicole Plourde, seconded by Karin Dorval, the Board voted to present the BEA proposal to the city council. The motion passed.
ADJOURN On a motion Nicole Plourde, seconded by Martha Laflamme, the Board voted to adjourn its meeting at 7:46 pm. The motion passed unanimously.
