City Council Work Session
November 9, 2015
Present were: Mayor Grenier, Councilor, Remillard, Gentili, Morgan-Allain, Higbee, Rozek, Nelson and Theberge; Councilor Otis was absent.

Election Results
Councilor Rozek moved with a second from Councilor Nelson to accept the election results as presented. All voted in favor of the motion.
Councilor Remillard moved to adjourn the special meeting; Councilor Higbee seconded and the motion carried.
WORK SESSION
City Boards
Mayor Grenier said that he received a resignation letter from Anthony Urban who is resigning from the Police Commission effective 11/21. Mr. Urban will be moving to the southern part of the State. Pierre Morin indicated that his preference is to be on the Police Commission. Mayor Grenier stated that Bob Goddard recommended Mark Eastman to serve on the Board of Assessors. Upon receiving a letter from Mr. Eastman, the appointment will come to the Council for a vote.
Councilor Rozek moved to accept the resignation of Tony Urban from the Police Commission effective 11/21; Councilor Morgan Allain seconded and the motion carried.
Mayor Grenier commented that Mr. Urban has been instrumental in spearheading projects to improve the local athletic fields. He’s never wanted recognition but his efforts are why we have some of best athletic fields in the state. Councilor Higbee suggested a letter of appreciation for all to sign.
Other
Mayor Grenier read a letter of thanks from the BHS Backers.
There being no further business in work session, Councilor Remillard moved to go into non-public session per RSA 91-A: 3II (b) the hiring of any person as a public employee; (d) consideration of the acquisition, sale or lease of real or personal property; (e) consideration or negotiation of pending claims; Councilor Theberge seconded and the motion carried unanimously by roll call.
Councilor Rozek moved with a second from Councilor Higbee to seal the minutes of the non-public session as releasing them would render the proposed action ineffective. So moved, the motion carried unanimously by roll call.
Councilor Rozek moved with a second from Councilor Higbee to adjourn. The meeting ended at 7:35.
