Appeal of Building Inspector Decision – Timothy Jones

Timothy Jones stated that he was still working out some issues and would like to request a continuance to May 2, 2013 and also allow an extension date for the decision to July 18, 2013.
AP motion to grant the continuance as requested.
JS second.

All in favor to grant the continuance to May 2, 2013 at 7:00 PM and an extension date of July 18, 2013.

JD read a continuance request for appeal #1 and #2 emailed by the applicants’ attorney, Gail Balser.
JS motion to grant the continuation to April 4, 2013 at 7:00 PM.

Thomas Houston (TH) of Professional Services Corporation presented his written responses to the Peer Review Report.  The applicant, Timothy Jones, his consultant, Paul Cusson and his engineer, William Halsing were in attendance.  TH explained that he commented on the report, then the applicants’ team commented back and then lastly TH put his evaluation and responses.  All items with an “okay” response were not discussed at the hearing as this was meant all in were in agreement with that line item.  Any items with comments or responses were discussed in detail between the parties.  There were items that would need to be discussed with DPW and the Conservation Commission.  Also, the board asked Laura to check with Stacy, the Town Planner on what the PB requires for outside lighting in subdivisions and also to follow-up with the Fire Department for their comments, in general and on #26 of the peer review.  LR stated she would take care of this.  Jay Talerman, Town Counsel stated he would have a draft decision at the next regular meeting for the board to go over for their comments and changes.   The next meeting would be on April 4, 2013 at 7:00 PM.

All agreed to work on what was discussed and come back to the April 4th meeting.
