The May 28th meeting of the Board of Selectmen was called to order by Chairman Connor with all members in attendance.
Mr. Connor asked Attorney Talerman to give the Board an update with regard to the Bellingham Estates street acceptance. Attorney Talerman stated the petitioner for the roadway acceptance has indicated they will be passing over their request. Attorney Talerman explained the Town requested indemnification from a pending lawsuit as well as a review of the drainage issue affecting residents of Fox Run Road.
Mrs. Morse questioned whether the matter could still be brought forward at Town Meeting to which Attorney Talerman answered in the affirmative.
On a Mayhew/Spencer motion, the Board unanimously voted to open the Fall Town Meeting effective this evening and to close the warrant effective July 3rd at 4:30 PM. Mr. Connor requested Department Heads be notified accordingly.
On a Mayhew/Spencer motion, the Board unanimously voted to adjourn the meeting at 7:15 PM.
