1. FinCom Present: Raymond Szczepan, Toni Picariello. Roland Lavallee. Joseph Collamati. Henri Masson.

3. Meeting called to order: 6:45 p.m.
4. ARTICLE 1. MIDDLE SCHOOL BOILER PROJECT (of the June 13, 2011 Special Town Meeting)(School Department)
Appearing: Richard Marks (RDK Engineers, Boston); James Testa, Francis Cartier, Cheryl Gray, Edward Fleury and Superintendent Fischer.
The bids have come in, there were 4 bids and three were lower than the projected $600,000 requested. The bids are:
General Air Conditioning and Heating, Inc. (GACH)---- $442,000
CAM H.V.A.C. & Construction, Inc.(CAM) --- $477,777
Aalanco Service Corporation --- $495,352
Royal Steam Heater Company --- $641,700
There will be a commissioning manager, which is a 3rd party engineer. There will be a test done after the project is finished to assure that everything in working. This is 100% paid by MSBC. (See footnote below).
Attached is the updated budget, which shows a total of $541,162.
