Transfer of some funds to reimburse our Gift Account has not yet occurred.
Business:
  • The Becket Arts Center has reconsidered their thoughts about having the Historic District tours this summer reports Barbara. Maybe another year. See February minutes.
  • Aaron brought some copies of railroad pictures from Mr. Miller. One was of a Becket site. See February minutes.
  • Letter from DPW has announced that Rte. 20 will be paved from Chester to Lee. Rob will send them a letter to the DPW stating our concern for no extraneous signage.
  • Rob reported on his letter to the DPW regarding the Rte. 8S repaving. He read it to us. Copy in correspondence file.
  • ZPA Letter regarding the demolition of a cottage on Goodwin Road on Center Pond was read. Rob will ascertain the condition of the building when the road is open in the spring to see if we need to register any concern.
  • CPA items must be ready for the ATM warrant by April 13th. Therefore we must get an approximate cost of the large signs to ask for possible funding from the CPA account.
  • The donated dresses have been accepted by the Berkshire County Historical Society. Rob was given a thank you for our donation.
  • Barbara made a motion to spend up to $100 for acid free storage boxes. Aaron 2nd.  Passed. University Products will supply them.
  • Aaron and Jennifer will work on the large signs and get an approximate cost for the printing of three 4’ x 6’ outdoor signs so as to ask for CPA funding.
