Becket Board of Health
July 21, 2010

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm. Mrs. Valerie Nickerson Bird appeared before the Board to discuss the ventilation system at the Lake View General Store which appears to be in failure. The Board will conduct an inspection with the Building Inspector and possible the Fire Chief because of a grease problem.
All members approved the 7/07/2010 minutes and the 7/16/2010 Department Payments to the Treasurer.
All members approved the listing of Board of Health meetings in the 2011Becket/Washington Community Calendar.
All members approved paying the annual membership dues to the National Association of County and City Health Officials.
Since the notice of the meeting was posted, five additional Title 5 Inspections were received. They are included in the listing below.
Title 5 Inspections were approved by all members at:
46 Trout Close Map 413 lot 62 witnessed by William Robinson
2250 Main Street Map 208 lot 12.01witnessed by William Fuller
183 Luce Road Map 418 lot 32 witnessed by William Fuller
510 Benton Hill Road Map 209 lot 32 witnessed by William Robinson
Percolation Tests were approved by all members at:
1725 Main Street Map 210 lot 33 inspected by William Fuller
45 Bruce Roy Lane Map 204 lot 114 inspected by William Fuller
All members approved an application for Disposal System Construction Permit at 11 Lake Shore Drive Map 204 lot 164.
The Board discussed the progress of the inspection of the five summer camps.
