The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM. Mr. Colby Staman appeared to sign his Application for Disposal Construction Permit.
The 9/02/09 Minutes and the 9/09/09 Departmental Payments to Treasurer were approved.
A ServSafe Food Safety course schedule and a DPH Flu Update were reviewed.
The publication “2008 Local Board of Health National Profile” was available for members.
Three publications (H1N1 Preparedness and Planning for Fall 2009--DPH, Novel A (H1N1) Influenza Vaccination--DPH, H1N1 Response—2009 Berkshire County, BCBOHA) were available for review. We are working with the Lee Visiting Nurse Association to provide the necessary clinics.
A DEP Sanitary Survey of the Becket Motel was reviewed and filed.
A CD on the MA Mosquito Control Program was reviewed and filed.
An American Red Cross report on swine flu was reviewed and filed.
A notice of a hearing by the Zoning Board of Appeals regarding Map 204 lot 84 was reviewed with no action required.
Percolation tests were approved at:
88 Greenwood Ct. Map 215 lot 236
92 Will Scarlet Dr. Map 216 lot 413
Applications for Disposal System Construction Permit were approved at:
1247 Main St. Map 413 lot 4
972 County Rd. Map 401 lot 9 and 9.1
