        The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM and the 6/03/09 minutes and 6/10/09 Department Payments to Treasurer were approved.

        The 6/18/09 Conservation Commission agenda was noted and filed.

        The conditional approval of a new well at Chimney Corners YMCA Camp is noted and filed.

        The DEP has given approval for a “limited use” of the current well at the Becket General Store until a new well is constructed.

        Camps are provided information regarding H1N1 (swine flu) guidance regarding protection against and actions necessary should the flu become active at the camp.

        The Red Cross has announced a course for the maintenance and operation of home pools and hot tubs.

        The first water samples from Camp Lenox were received and filed.

        Recreational Camp brochures were received with other informational materials to be sent to call camps.

        An eleven page document of Key Points of the H1N1 (swine flu) updated the current situation.

        Information regarding the “Don’t Move Firewood” program was received and shared with all camps.

        New federal “Ground Water Rule” regulations were provided to all Public Water Systems.  We will work with Berkshire Enviro-Labs to fulfill the requirements for Town Hall.

        Title 5 Inspections were approved at:
                30 Washington St.               Map 206 lot 39
                (new septic tank and well required)
                     972 County Rd.                    Map 401 lot 9
                (failure)

        Percolation Tests were approved at:
                3211 Main St.                   Map 207 lot 39
                  354 Fred Snow Rd.             Map 407 lot 130

        An Application for Disposal System Construction Permit was approved at Ronald Drive (211/67).
