  • Correspondence and transfers
Transfer $3,582 for Tax Taking Expense – Discussion about many of these parcels are in Sherwood Forest, some are properties that were previously sold at the Town Land Auction, and that there are certain large parcels of land in the tax taking.  It was discussed that the town should not sell any lands for less than the cost of the tax taking in case these once again fall in arrears as has happened with some of these parcels. Motion to approve transfer: DP; Second: JD.  SL, JD, DP, AS, Approve


  • Town Admin. - Updates
No other at this time

  • Salary Survey update/timetable to get ready for 2013 Budget
Nothing more at this time but will be completed for Summer 2012.  SL asked if employee evaluations will be done in the future.  Craig stated that this is the plan between the TA and SB.  Guidelines need to be done first.
  • Complete outstanding line item recommendations for Warrant

Town Accountant increase s/b at 1.5% if she is an employee; Motion was made with the exception of Police Salaries which is recommended at $203,000 to account for a FT chief but overall shift hours remaining the same by elimination of a 20 hr PT position.  All other town departments were to submit a flat budget as the Police dept should not be an exception.

Establish a new Ambulance Enterprise Stabilization Fund for the purchase of future equipment, including Ambulance replacement.  Funding started with $20K from Free Cash.

John Amato asked for clarification on the Police Salaries line of SB vs FC.  It was explained that the difference was an estimate of a 20 hour per week work shift for a Part Time Officer which should be eliminated if a FT Chief is hired.
