BOARD OF FINANCE
SPECIAL MEETING
JUNE 7, 2004

        I.      CALL TO ORDER – The Special Meeting was called to order by Chairman Harrison immediately following the Referendum at the Senior Center Community Room.  Present were members Gugliotti, Hooper, McGuff, Monts, Speich and Zacchio.

        II.     PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE – Dispersed with.

        III.    OLD BUSINESS
                30-04/03        FY04/05 BUDGET:  Set Tax Rate
Because the referendum vote rejected the ballot question, this action was not completed.

A third Referendum was scheduled for June 28th, 2004 at the Community Room, Senior Center from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.  To accommodate this date, the following schedule was adopted:               June 9, 2004 – Wednesday – Avon Room, Town Hall
                                  Public comments will be invited.
                        June 17, 2004 - Thursday - PUBLIC HEARING, Senior Center 7:00 p.m.
                     June 17, 2004 Immediately following public Hearing.  No Public Comment
                 June 28, 2004 – REFERENDUM.

On a motion made by Mr. Harrison, seconded by Mr. McGuff, it was voted:
RESOLVED:       That the Board of Finance adopt the foregoing schedule.
Messrs. Harrison, Gugliotti, Hooper, McGuff, Monts, Speich and Zacchio voted in favor.

                     IV.       OTHER BUSINESS – None.

        V.      ADJOURN
On a motion made by Mr. Harrison, seconded by Mr. Hooper, it was voted:
RESOLVED:               That the Board of Finance adjourn at 8:30 p.m.
Messrs. Harrison, Gugliotti, Hooper, McGuff, Monts, Speich and Zacchio voted in favor.
