BUDGET WORK SESSION
FEBRUARY 8, 2014
I. CALL TO ORDER
A Special Meeting was called to order at 8:00 a.m. in the Selectmen’s Chamber by Chairman Zacchio. Members present: Mrs. Maguire and Messrs: Evans, Pena and Stokesbury.

The Council concurred with the Town Manager’s Recommended Operating Budget of $83,887,095.00 with a 2.60% budget increase.
- III. EXECUTIVE SESSION - Personnel
On a motion made by Mr. Evans, seconded by Mr. Pena, it was voted:
RESOLVED: That the Town Council go into Executive Session at 11:43 a.m.
Mrs. Maguire and Messrs: Evans, Pena, Stokesbury and Zacchio voted in favor.
The Town Clerk attended the session.
On a motion made by Mr. Evans, seconded by Mr. Pena, it was voted:
RESOLVED: That the Town Council come out of Executive Session at 12:00 noon.
Mrs. Maguire and Messrs: Evans, Pena, Stokesbury and Zacchio voted in favor.
On a motion made by Mr. Evans, seconded by Mr. Pena, it was voted:
RESOLVED: That the Town Council authorize a 2.25% increase to the Town Manager’s salary and expressed their appreciation.
Mrs. Maguire and Messrs: Evans, Pena, Stokesbury and Zacchio voted in favor.
IV. ADJOURNMENT – The meeting adjourned at 12:50 p.m.
