BOARD OF ASSESSMENT APPEALS

Meeting opened at 9:00 a.m.
Appeal #1: Louis Pane – 2011 Toyota Avalon
Mr. Pane stated that the assessment on his 2011 Toyota actually increased on the 2011 Grand List and the tax also went up. He spoke to the DMV and was told that the assessment should not have increased.
The Board felt that the vehicle was valued in accordance with State law, which mandates how vehicles should be priced using the NADA pricing guide, specifically the corresponding values for the car when matched up with the VIN and information from NADA.
After careful deliberation and a review of the information presented, the Board voted that no change be made at this time.
