AVON HIGH SCHOOL RENOVATIONS BUILDING COMMITTEE
MINUTES
September 12, 2006
I. CALL TO ORDER - Chairman Hank Frey called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m. in the Selectmen's Chamber, Town Hall. Present were members Jeff Brighenti, Ann Dearstyne and Jim Eacott.
II. COMMUNICATION FROM AUDIENCE - None.
III. COMMUNICATION FROM COMMITTEE MEMBERS
Members discussed the discussions at the Town Meeting held last week. There was not much discussion either for or against the proposal to go to Referendum.
IV. OTHER BUSINESS
a. Approval of Bills
On a motion made by Mrs. Dearstyne, seconded by Mr. Eacott, it was voted:
RESOLVED: That the AHS Renovations Building Committee approve payment
of $80,808.83 to Kaestle Boos, per invoice attached.
Messrs. Frey, Brighenti, Eacott and Mrs. Dearstyne voted in favor.
On a motion made by Mr. Brighenti, seconded by Mrs. Dearstyne, it was voted:
RESOLVED: That the AHS Renovations Building Committee approve payment
of $172.50 to EnviroScience Consultants, Inc. per invoice attached.
Messrs. Frey, Brighenti, Eacott and Mrs. Dearstyne voted in favor.
On a motion made by Mr. Brighenti, seconded by Mr. Eacott, it was voted:
RESOLVED: That the AHS Renovations Building Committee approve payment
of $40,000.00 to FIP Corporation, per invoice attached.
Messrs. Frey, Brighenti, Eacott and Mrs. Dearstyne voted in favor.
On a motion made by Mrs. Dearstyne, seconded by Mr. Brighenti, it was voted:
RESOLVED: That the AHS Renovations Building Committee approve payment
of $1,157.66 to Joseph Merritt & Co. per statement attached.
Messrs. Frey, Brighenti, Eacott and Mrs. Dearstyne voted in favor.
V. ADJOURNMENT
On a motion made by Mrs. Dearstyne, seconded by Mr. Brighenti, it was voted:
RESOLVED: That the AHS Renovations Building Committee adjourn at 8:30 am.
Messrs. Frey, Brighenti, Eacott and Mrs. Dearstyne voted in favor.
