The Chair called the meeting to order. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and roll was called.
Agenda Item 1: Minutes of September 4, 2007.
Chair asks for a motion to approve the minutes of September 4, 2007. Motion made by John Breanick, seconded by Sam Giangreco. All members vote approval.
Agenda Item 2: Application for a Minor Subdivision of existing real property (tax map parcel # 122.43-1-3.111) located at 78 Thornton Avenue, from which two single-family residential parcels will be subdivided. Applicant: Greg Lennox.
Chair invites the owner or agent to speak.
Greg Lennox, E. Lake Rd. – basically speccing two houses on the property for resale.
Chair invites members of the public to speak. Being none closes the public hearing and asks the Board for comments. Being none asks for staff comments.
Steve Selvek – before the Board is shown a minor subdivision for the two lots as shown on the included plot plan. This is part of the school board property where four lots have already been previously subdivided. These are the remaining two lots. Again, the school board is requiring the buyer proceed forth with the subdivision and receive all necessary approvals prior to the sale of the lots. There is a short form SEQR included and this is an unlisted action. If there’s any specific comments or questions in regards to SEQR I will answer them. I just noted that this is a minor subdivision that does not include any new infrastructure or physical alterations and therefore no adverse impacts are anticipated. And that’s followed up with subsequent growth and development to include two
single-family dwellings to be built, one on each lot. The staff recommendation is for negative declaration on SEQR. Also included is a drafted resolution for approval of the subdivision. It’s a straightforward minor subdivision that does not require preliminary approval as it is a minor subdivision and does not require any new infrastructure or municipal utilities. Staff recommendation is also for approval of the subdivision.
John Breanick – I understand the property in back of these houses there is a paper street the school district may be possibly selling.
Steve Selvek – I don’t believe the paper street continues down beyond these specific lots. It terminates to the north of this subdivision.
Chair – asks for a motion for a negative declaration on SEQR. So moved by John Breanick, seconded by Sam Giangreco. All members vote approval. Motion carried.
Moving on to minor subdivision review and approval. Is there a motion to accept the minor subdivision? So moved by Sam Giangreco, seconded by John Breanick. All members vote approval. Motion carried.
Other matters
Laurie Michelman – this is my last meeting. I’ve accepted a job with the City Court and that precludes me from serving on any municipal boards.
John Breanick – wishes Laurie the best of luck with her new position.
Next meeting is Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at 6:30 p.m.
Motion for adjournment made by John Breanick, seconded by Sam Giangreco. All members vote approval. Motion carried.
