Meeting called to order at 5:05 p.m. by Commissioner.

-Minutes of the February Board meeting approved; motion/seconded: Anthony DeCaro, Zan Liebowitz

-Monthly intakes (58) on various issues including: employment/termination, requests for legal assistance, renting, landlord/tenant issues, etc…..from individuals contacting the office in person or via the telephone.

Board Member Comments: There are walk ins on an ongoing basis; statistical numbers stay at a consistent level.

Black History Month Program
Board Member Comments: Thank you notes were sent out. Commission wants to thank Karen for a job well done  It was well attended.

Woman
Board Member Comments: Discussion. Guest readers are: Guy Cosentino, Options for Independence;  Rev. Pamela Andregg,  Karen Sheftic-Burns, HR Director; Kent Brandstetter, representing Auburn School Board. Send announcement to the Pre-Schools, elementary schools, and public and parochial schools.

A Lesson For Dying
Board Member Comments:  Discussion of the book followed.

Black History Month her presentations. She is accompanied by a drummer. Various media pieces will be sent to area service organizations, schools, churches, and the general public. Wegmans, the Commission
Board Member Comments: The Tubman home has a new director whose implemented many positive changes.

Salvation Army Board Meeting
Board Member Comments: Continue to attend Homesite Board also. (Alternate
2002-2003 Budget
Board Member Comments: Discussion. Commissioner and Director will meet on the 12th with comptroller and manager. $1010.00 is proposed to be placed back on line appropriation 22. Usage: laptop printer/remainder moved for Programs.

Annual Report
Board Member Comments: Karen is checking out printing quotes. Report will be published soon. Commissioner states that this report is the best looking report in NY State, compared to other Commission reports.
