Present: Betty Lewis, Richard Stankus, Mike Deming, Jim Hutchinson, David Thurston, Paul McDonald
Chair opens the meeting and asks for a motion to accept the minutes barring any changes. So moved by Jim Hutchinson, seconded by Betty Lewis. All members vote approval. Motion carried.
Certificates of Occupancy issued in house:
44 Grover St. – roof
84 South St. – pavement of parking area
107 South St. – pavement of parking area
10 Fitch Ave – roof
9 Elizabeth St. – windows
48 South St. – roof
Motion to accept Certificates except 44 Grover St. made by Jim Hutchinson, seconded by Richard Stankus. All members vote approval. Motion carried.
Motion to accept 44 Grover St. made by Jim Hutchinson, seconded by Paul McDonald. All members vote approval with David Thurston abstaining. Motion carried.
Christine Selvek discusses Preserve America Community and Harriet Tubman Historic Park designation.
Discussion of rehab/replacement of light poles on South St. Motion to send memo to the City Manager made by David Thurston, seconded by Paul McDonald. All members vote approval. Motion carried.
Christine Selvek would like to bring back property owner recognition presentations and certificates.
Pending Certificate of Appropriateness – 102 South St. – handicapped ramp.
Update for 88 South St. and 39 William St.
The Warden’s House on South St. may be for sale.
Betty Lewis will not be at the February and March meetings.
