Special Council Meeting
Staff Members Present – John Salomone, City Manager; Thomas Leone, Corporation Counsel; Michele McNabb, Deputy City Clerk; Bill Lupien, Superintendent of Engineering Services; Frank DeOrio, Director of Municipal Utilities; Lisa Green, Comptroller; Jerry DelFavero, Superintendent of Public Works; Gary Giannotta, Police Chief; Michael Quill, Fire Chief; Steve Lynch, Director of Development.
Roll Call – Councilors Graney, McNabb, Smith, Dempsey, and Mayor Lattimore - present
All stood for the Pledge Allegiance to the Flag.
Mayor Lattimore asked for a moment of silence.
Mayor Lattimore turned the meeting over to City Manager, John Salomone. Mr. Salomone thanked all for coming to this special meeting. He introduced the facilitator, Charlie Zettek who is with the Center for Government Research. Mr. Salomone commented that today’s meeting is tentatively scheduled for 10AM to 3PM. He then asked Tom Leone, Corporation Counsel, to go over the ground rules for the meeting. Mr. Leone explained that Council is well aware of what kind of discussions will require going into executive session. He advised that if an executive session need arises they would adjourn to the City Manager’s Office to hold the executive session. Mr. Leone then turned the meeting over to Mr. Zettek.
Work Session
Mr. Zettek facilitated the strategic planning session with Council and Department Heads.
Council adjourned to Executive Session at 12:20PM and returned at 1:11PM.
The budget planning session continued.
Meeting Adjourned at 3:10PM.
