Emergency Meeting called by the City Manager.
Roll Call – Mayor Lattimore, Councilors McNabb, Smith and Graney, Dempsey -Present.
Staff Members Present – John Salomone, City Manager, Thomas Leone, Corporation Counsel, Debra McCormick, City Clerk, Lisa Green, Comptroller.
All stood for the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
The Mayor asked for a moment of silence.
Matter Before Council: Mayor’s Travel Request
City Councilors, Mayor Lattimore, City Manager John Salomone, Tom Leone, Corporation Counsel reviewed and discussed the recent resolution requiring approval of travel and training expenses as it relates to the Mayor’s plans to travel to Washington DC on February 22nd.
Mr. Leone reviewed the language of the resolution stating that all expenses in the budget line of .460 would be subject to prior review and approval by City Council.
Council voted to approve the Mayor’s travel expense of approximately $450.00 for his trip to Washington DC on February 22, 2006. The votes were as follow: Councilor Graney, Smith and Mayor Lattimore, aye - Councilor Dempsey and McNabb, no.
Council adjourned at 3:00PM.
