City Staff Present – John Salomone, City Manager; Corporation Counsel Thomas Leone, Corporation Counsel, City Clerk Debra McCormick, Jerry DelFavero, Superintendent of Public Works.

Presentations and Proclamations –
Sandra Craner, Executive Director of the Downtown Auburn Business Improvement District distributed information folders and presented Council with a power point presentation on what the BID had accomplished to date. The Mayor and Council discussed. Mayor Carnicelli thanked Ms. Craner and the BID board members that attended.
Public Announcements – The Clerk read.
City Manager John Salomone reported that Adelphia has begun to run the City Council meeting videos and they should be caught up now.
Work Session
City Brush Collection Process
Jerry DelFavero, Superintendent of Public Works and John Salomone, City Manager reviewed the brush collection process in the city. The review included a recap of the City’s ordinance, the existing process, examples of violations (with pictures), and impact of violations on the city’s labor expenses, communication and suggestions to improve process. Council discussed.
Other Business
The City Manager reported that the Booker T. Washington Center with Cayuga Counseling would be hosting a teen dance on July 31, in the City Parking Garage.
