Roll Call - Councilor Jacobs, McNabb, Hunter, Dempsey, Mayor Carnicelli
Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag - Luke Colella, third grade student at Waterman Elementary School in Skaneateles lead the pledge.

Public Announcements
City ManagerThe City Manager reported on the following:
· Greening of the Arterial began today. Traffic was stopped temporarily because a traffic box was knocked out.
Public to be Heard
Sandra McAden, 114 Osborne St. a four year resident of that street spoke to council about speed of traffic and safety of children and elderly.
Joan Micheal, Auburn resident and Arborist spoke to support the City and Walt Aikman
Jim Wride, Burt Ave. spoke to council in support of the tree program.
Charlie Wride 14 North Park spoke to support the tree program.
Mayor Carnicelli commented that her office has received many calls in support of the tree program.

Resolutions
Appointment Resolution #177 of 2002 authorizing re-appointment of Jerry Strayer, 214 Franklin Street, Auburn, New York, to the Board of Assessment Review effective October 1, 2002 for a five (5) year term. Vote: Councilor Jacobs, McNabb, Hunter, Dempsey and Mayor Carnicelli
Council Resolution #178 of 2002 directing the City Manager to fill the vacant Assistant Fire Chief position in the Auburn Fire Department. Vote: Councilor Jacobs, McNabb, Dempsey and Mayor Carnicelli
Council Resolution #179 of 2002 supporting the volunteer effort known as “Grow Auburns Trees!” Vote: Councilor Jacobs, McNabb, Hunter, Dempsey and Mayor Carnicelli
Council Resolution #180 of 2002 authorizing the Mayor to execute any and all documents necessary to effectuate the exchange of certain lands between the City of Auburn and the New York State Department of Transportation.
