The following matters may be brought before the Council at the BUSINESS MEETING ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2008 AT 6:00 P.M. IN CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS:

A PUBLIC HEARING will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers, Memorial City Hall, regarding
Local Law #1 of 2008 of the City of Auburn, New York, repealing its cents per gallon rate of sales and compensating use taxes on motor fuel and diesel motor fuel, thus restoring its percentage rate of such taxes, pursuant to the authority of Article 29 of the Tax Law of the State of New York.

                        A.      Appointment Resolution #19 of 2008 authorizing re-appointments and an appointment to the Auburn Human Rights Commission.

                        B.      Appointment Resolution #20 of 2008 authorizing re-appointment of Thomas Shamon as part-time City Court Judge, said term to expire on April 17, 2014.

                C .     Council Resolution #21 of 2008 authorizing a Public Hearing to be held on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. regarding Local Law #2 of 2008 amending Local Law #2 of 2007 establishing residency and proximity restrictions in the City of Auburn for Level III Sex Offenders.
