Select Board Meeting Minutes

Wind Farm Update
- Mr. Kenworthy updated the Select Board on the progress of the Wind Farm construction. Representatives from Reed & Reed, Eversource, and Trans Alta each gave a summary of where they were with the project. The road is complete and there is still blasting to finish on pads for turbines 8 & 9. Eversource has been working the last few months on the transfer facility substation. The turbines and equipment are scheduled to be on site mid to late May. They are expecting a commercial operation date of August 30, 2019. They are currently working with Department of Environmental Services (DES) and New Hampshire Site Evaluation Committee (SEC) on a hearing for using temporary timber mats for the wetlands issue around the substation. The transfer to Trans Alta ownership is expected approximately one month after the order is issued by the SEC. Mr. Robertson moved to approve Eversource’s request to work on Sundays at the Substation. Only hand tools are to be used and no heavy equipment or
deliveries are permitted. Personal vehicles will be used and they will notify Select Board when they will be doing this. Sunday work is to be permitted from 8 am – 4 pm only. Mr. Edwards seconded. Passed 3/0.
- Mr. Robertson moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:40 PM; Mr. Genest seconded. Passed 3/0
