Town of Antrim–Board of Selectmen
Meeting Minutes
March 13, 2017

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Chairman John Robertson in the Little Town Hall.

Members Present: John Robertson, Michael Genest, Robert L. Edwards
Staff Present: Donna Hanson
Others Present: Moderator Arthur Merrill, Rick Davis

Agenda Items:
  • Mr. Genest moved to approve the minutes of February 27, 2017.  Mr. Edwards seconded.  Passed 3/0.
  • Mr. Edwards moved to approve the minutes of March 6, 2017.  Mr. Genest seconded.  Passed 3/0.
  • Mr. Edwards moved to approve the non-public minutes of March 6, 2017. Mr. Genest seconded. Passed 3/0
  • Warrant articles were reviewed with Moderator Arthur Merrill.
  • Mr. Rick Davis submitted an application to use Town Hall on Sundays for church services.  Mr. Davis will be responsible for set up and take down. The selectmen approved the application for a three-month trial period. After 3 months, the request will be reviewed.
Other Business:

  • Mr. Edwards received a call during the meeting from Selectman Jim Cleary in Bennington. Mr. Cleary was informed that Bennington’s fire chief just resigned without notice. Mr. Cleary would like the Bennington Board of Selectmen to meet with the Antrim Board of Selectmen. Ms. Hanson will contact the Bennington town administrator to determine the purpose of a meeting and to schedule it if necessary.
  • Mr. Genest moved to go into non-public session under RSA 91-A:3 II (a) The dismissal, promotion, or compensation of any public employee. Mr. Edwards seconded.  Passed 3/0
  • Mr. Genest moved to accept the resignation of Antrim police officer Juan Lluberes effective April 2, 2017. Mr. Edwards seconded. Passed 3/0
  • Mr. Edwards moved to seal the non-public minutes. Mr. Robertson seconded. Passed 3/0
After no further business Mr. Genest moved to adjourn at 8:55 p.m., Mr. Edwards seconded.  Passed 3/0
