Town of Antrim – Board of Selectmen
Meeting Minutes
March 31, 2014
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Chairman Genest in the Antrim Little Town Hall.
Members Present: Mr. Webber, Mr. Genest & Mr. Robertson
- Mr. Webber motioned to approve the BOS minutes of March 17, 2014, Mr. Robertson 2nd , Passed 3/0
- Mr. Robertson motioned to waive the Town Hall rental for the Ukulele Society of Antrim, Mr. Webber 2nd, Passed 3/0
- Mr. Webber motioned to re-appoint John Kendall, John Giffin and Frank Scales for 3 year terms to the Zoning Board of Adjustment, Mr. Genest 2nd, Passed 3/0
- Mr. Steve Ullman has submitted a request to be appointed as an alternate to the Advisory Budget Committee, as he board is uncertain of the committee make up, agreed to table this request to the next meeting.
- Mr. Rafuse has requested that the Town Council legal opinion on Valley Lane be released to him, Mr. Genest motioned not to release the document, Mr. Webber 2nd, Passed 3/0
- Mr. Robertson reminded the board that the Town was the sponsor for the April Community Supper to be held on April 17th and that last year the Town contributed approximately $100 towards the purchase of food for the supper and requested the same this year. Mr. Webber motions to approve contributing towards the supper, Mr. Robertson 2nd. Mr. Genest stated that in past years the members of the board had personally contributed towards the purchase and not used Town funds. Passed 2/0/1 with Mr. Genest abstaining
- Mr. Webber asked that a condolence card for Jim Smith be sent from the board.
- Mr. Genest requests former Chair Webber to enter Town Administrator's review in a timely fashion.
- There being no further business, Mr. Robertson motioned to adjourn, Mr. Webber 2nd. Passed 3/0. Meeting adjourned at 7:30 PM
