Town of Antrim – Board of Selectmen
Meeting Minutes
January 9, 2012
The meeting was called to order at 7:06 PM by Chairman of the Board of Selectmen Michael Genest in the Antrim Town Hall.
Members Present: Mr. Genest, Mr. Robertson and Mr. Tenney (arrived at 7:13 PM)
Staff Present: Galen Stearns (Town Administrator)
- Mr. Genest motioned to approve the minutes of December 21, 2011, Mr. Robertson 2nd, passed 2/0
- Planning Board Chairman, Andrew Robblee made the following request to the board of selectmen:
- The Planning Board requests that the Town pay the remaining portion of Mr. Little’s legal bill in the amount of $4,333.02. The board discussed their previous vote and that the Planning Board as well as Mr. Little had been informed that the Town would not be responsible for these fees. Mr. Genest motioned not to pay Mr. Little’s legal bill. Mr. Robertson 2nd the motion. Passed 3/0
The Planning Board requested that the consultant’s line in the budget be returned to the $27,500. The board discussed the budget and felt that there was sufficient funds in the budget for a consultant.
- Budget – The board feels that the proposed budget is to high and want to review possible reductions. Mr. Stearns gave the board a spreadsheet with potential reductions that the board will review and discuss at the next meeting.
- The Budget Hearing will be scheduled for February 9, 2012 at 7:00 PM
- There being no further business, the Mr. Robertson motioned to adjourn, Mr. Genest 2nd, passed 3/0 meeting adjourned at 8:42 PM.
