Selectmen Meeting Minutes
December 4th, 2006

Present:  M. Genest, R. Haggett, and B. Pratt
Also in attendance: W. Prokop,

The selectmen opened the meeting at 7:00 P.M.

The selectmen approved the minutes of the November 27th meeting.

The selectmen reviewed a memo from Robert Edwards, Chairman of the Planning Board. He is requesting assistance with enforcement of our current sign ordinance. The board will look into this further and will prepare a plan of action which they will review with Mr. Edwards.

The board reviewed various request for donations from outside agencies, such as the New Hampshire Association for the Blind. The board asked the Town Administrator to check with DRA for the proper guidance for budgeting small donations.

The board approved a vacation carry-over request of the Town Administrator.

The board was informed by the Town Administrator of progress that is being made in regards to Code Enforcement on three properties that have been in violation for several years. The credit goes to our enforcement officer and the Regional Prosecutor for the efforts that they have put forth to resolve these issues.

The selectmen did an overall review of the budget and will hold meetings with Planning, Park & Recreation, Police, and Fire Department to finalize their budget request in the next few weeks.

The selectmen voted at 8:30 P.M. to go into Non-Public session regarding RSA 91:4a to discuss personnel issues.

The selectmen voted at 9:30 P.M. to go back into public session. They voted to seal the minutes of the Non-Public session.

The selectmen reviewed general correspondence and approved payroll and A/P for the week.

Meeting adjourned at 10:00 p.m. The next meeting is scheduled for 12/11/06 at 7:00 P.M. and will meet with the Park & Recreation Department and Commission, and the Planning Board Chairman and Planning staff to finalize budget request.
