Selectmen Meeting Minutes –February 27th, 2006
Present: M. Genest, R. Haggett, and B. Pratt
Also in attendance: W. Prokop, J. Soullier
The selectmen held their regular meeting and approved the minutes of the February 15th, 2006 meeting.
The selectmen reviewed the warrant articles ballot form and will review and finalize it with the Moderator prior to Town meeting.
The selectmen received and accepted a petition from property owners on Route 9, protesting the petition to rezone a portion of Route 9. This is done in accordance with RSA 675:5. This will require the petition ballot to have a 66 % favorable vote to pass. The Moderator and the Supervisors of the Checklist will be so informed.
The selectmen reviewed the summary report from Water Resources and will provide the Fire Chief with a list of their questions. In addition, there will be a meeting with the Fire Department and Ambulance officers with our Risk Management Advisors on March 20th at 7:15 P.M. to hear their report and discuss the findings.
The selectmen reviewed abatement and current use applications.
The selectmen voted to go into Non-Public Session at 8:15 p.m., per RSA 91:4-a, regarding personnel and legal issues.
The selectmen voted to close the Non-Public session and to go back into Public session at 8:40 p.m.
The selectmen voted to seal the minutes of the Non-Public session.
The selectmen reviewed general correspondence and approved payroll and A/P for the week.
Meeting adjourned at 9:15 p.m. The next meeting is scheduled for 03/06/06 at 7:00 P.M.
