Selectmen Meeting Minutes –February 6, 2006
Present: M. Genest, R. Haggett, and B. Pratt
Also in attendance: W. Prokop
The selectmen opened the meeting at 7:00 P.M.
The selectmen approved the minutes of the January 30, 2006 meeting and the Public hearings on the Budget and on the Library Bond.
The selectmen discussed the Antrim Scholarship Committee and Mr. Ben Pratt will be the representative of the Board on the committee this year.
The selectmen reviewed the warrant articles and the budget and agreed to finalize the warrant at next weeks meeting 2/13/06.
The selectmen reviewed an abatement request and it was denied.
The selectmen reviewed a request for private improvements to be made on a class VI. Road and agreed that if these improvements were done to Town specifications, they would consider taking to Town Meeting for approval, the upgrading of that section to class V. after the road was completed.
The selectmen reviewed general correspondence and approved payroll and A/P for the week.
Meeting adjourned at 9:00 p.m. The next meeting is scheduled for 02/15/06 and will be the second Public Hearing on the Library Bond and the Public Information session on the 2006 budget and warrant articles.
