Selectmen Meeting Minutes –June 20, 2005

Present: M. Genest, R. Haggett, and B. Pratt
Also in attendance: W. Prokop, S. Chatfield, M. Pon, M. Morrow

The selectmen opened the meeting at 7:00 P.M.

The selectmen approved the minutes of the May 23, 2005 meeting.

The selectmen met with Mr. David Essex to approve a letter regarding the location of the Hillsborough Court.

The selectmen discussed and approved the updated Highway Winter & Inclement Weather Policy.

The selectmen agreed to go ahead and set a date with the Deering Selectmen to do the perambulation of the Town Line between Deering and Antrim.

The selectmen agreed to have all Department and Committee heads prepare a written report as to the activities that have taken place in their departments. These will be due to the Board of Selectmen by Friday, July 15th.

The selectmen were informed by the Town Administrator of a planned meeting for All Town employees to be held on Tuesday, July 19th at 6:30 p.m. upstairs in the Town Hall. This is a required meeting of both our insurance carriers and will highlight the current needs of the Town. This will be paid time for everyone and the meeting will run approximately 90 minutes.

The selectmen agreed to ask for a meeting with our school board representatives to discuss the issues and concerns of the residents. The selectmen would like to have the meeting on Monday, August 15th at 7:00 p.m. The Town Administrator will schedule the meeting with the school board representatives.

The selectmen approved a thank you letter to the Hillsborough Board of Selectmen.

The selectmen approved a thank you letter to Troop II of the Boy Scouts for the clean up of Mill Pond.

The selectmen reviewed and approved the schedule for the completion of the C.I.P., Master Plan, and Budget Plans for the upcoming year.

The selectmen than voted to go into non-public session per RSA 91:a-4. They went into non-public session at 7:45 p.m.

The selectmen voted to go back into public session at 8:30 p.m.

The selectmen voted to seal all minutes of non-public sessions regarding personnel issues permanently.

The selectmen reviewed general correspondence and approved payroll and A/P for the week.

The selectmen confirmed that the next meeting will be Monday night July 25th at 7:00 p.m.

Meeting adjourned at 9:00 p.m.
