Selectmen Meeting Minutes –March 28, 2005
Present: M. Genest, R. Haggett, and B. Pratt
Also in attendance: W. Prokop, I. Donovan,S. Chatfield, J. Souillier
The selectmen opened the meeting at 7:00 P.M.
The selectmen approved the minutes of the March 21st. meeting.
The selectmen discussed the status of the Police coverage as has been planned out by Sgt. Donovan. The schedule will use our mutual aid arrangements with our surrounding towns and we will be using the State Police to provide coverage, the schedule will be adjusted as is needed. This will continue until the department is fully staffed.
The selectmen then discussed the lawn mowing needs and contract proposal from Chadwick’s for the 2005 season. It was agreed to look into ways to reduce our lawn care maintenance cost. The Town Administrator will look into this and present a plan to the selectmen.
The selectmen began their review of the abatement request from the Girl Scout Council and have instructed the Town Attorney to proceed as he has recommended.
The selectmen reviewed the mapping proposal recommendation presented by the Town Administrator and have authorized him to proceed with the finalization of a contract with Cartographic Associates as long as the Water & Sewer commissioners are in agreement.
The selectmen then reviewed various correspondences and signed the payroll and accounts payable for the week.
The next selectmen’s meeting will be April 18th at 7:00 P.M.
The meeting adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
