Masterplan
  • To look at the data of the town.
  • Gather Data from federal census.
  • Gather data on the home businesses.
  • Gathering data on HB will be difficult due to the fact that now businesses do not have to register with the town or anyone.
Discussion about how to incorporate Home Businesses into the Masterplan.
Survey for the Masterplan was discussed. What kind of questions? How to get it out? How to get it back?

The Land Use Assistant handed out some old Masterplan surveys for the Board to look at.
The Board would like to get a small survey out in the Limrik to get a sample of the towns demographics.

Junkyards
-Discarded Materials Town Ordinance
-Junkyards Zoning Ordinances
Mr. Edwards has heard a lot of discussion about junkyards here in town and how there is nothing
being done about it. There are a many interpretations of what a junkyard is.
When does it rise to the level of some sort of violation? Whether it be environmental or health.
It could adversely affect property values.
The Board is interested in looking into what kind of changes can be done in the wording
of the Junkyard Ordinance and what if any kind of steps can be taken by neighbors
or the town to get someone to clean up a potentially dangerous junkyard.
How are these ordinances enforced?  What is the difference between a junk
yard and a junkie yard? The Board has requested that
Ms. Ogilvie start to look into what can be done to change the junkyard ordinance.
