MEETING MINUTES
Board Members Present: Chair Chris Condon, Jeanne Cahoon, Steve MacDonald, Janet McEwan, Michael Frosch, Jesse Lazar, Elsa Volker, and Ex Officio Mike Genest.
Staff Present: Carol Ogilvie.
Others: Tom Davis.
The meeting convened at the Antrim Town Hall where Chair Condon explained the purpose and approach of the meeting, as follows: the purpose of the meeting is to conduct a site visit to the location of the proposed ITW cell tower, and several of the private properties from which photos of the balloon test and simulated tower were taken. Chair Condon reminded everyone that the public hearing on this application is closed, so there can be no new information taken, and everyone needs to be mindful that they do not engage in out-of-order conversations with anyone.
Members then split up into several vehicles and drove first to 115 Pierce Lake Road, the site of the proposed facility, where representatives of ITW were on-site to answer any questions the Board might have. There were questions about the types of trees around the site, and which properties were directly across the lake.
The next stops were Jackman Shore Road, Winkleman’s Point, and #8 Keene Road; from where the members viewed the proposed ITW location across the lake from several different vantage points.
The site visit concluded at approximately 7:30 pm.
