January minutes accepted with corrections.
Budget
CIP—$30,000 for the Parks & Recreation CRF included in Town Warrant Article 5
Shea Field
Ice rink. Whole field is ice. Celeste hopes to be able to use rink during winter vacation.
Maintenance: Celeste working on contacts for aeration—should do early since field hasn’t been draining well this winter.
Getting portable mounds—will be a great help
Celeste will attend Feb 19 School Board meeting
Town Gym
Second contractor contacted re sanding floor, coming to see it, experience with gyms at a lot of private schools.
No response from Vince re moisture readings.
Rec Dept
Jennica working with Celeste, also running after-school programs
Many camp counselors coming back.
Ski program finished up—the 10 kids had a lot of fun.
Nobody has been coming for the indoor walking program.
Youth Fishing Derby—concern re fish poaching. Will post as youth only for the entire day, not just early morning. Need to coordinate with police and inform general public.
Pump Track/Dog Park/Archery
Walk scheduled with Peter Beblowski and Marshall Gale week of March 18
Celeste will help with kids games at Fire House Open House on April 13.
Memorial Park
Antrim In The Evening—NEST grant due April 1
Eagle Scout Project—Mike Redmund, Jr., will meet again with Celeste on Feb 26 to discuss Gaga Pit.
Gregg Lake
ATVs damaging shrubs at point and boat launch. Consider posting for “No motorized vehicles” or “No wheeled vehicles”; making recommendation in Watershed Management Plan.
Craig Rd bridge replacement should be done by April 15
Beach house doors need to be replaced.
WMP—Septic Inventory report done; Water Quality Summary nearing completion.
General
Avenue A starting open mike—will support their effort, no need to compete
Next meeting—conflict with Town Meeting. Move to April 4, instead of scheduled April 11 meeting.
